COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
THAWING AND PREPARATION:
- For best results, thaw steaks, in package, in refrigerator for 24 hours. Alternatively, thaw steaks in cold water for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
- Remove all packaging prior to cooking.
BARBECUE (For best results):
- Preheat barbecue on high 10 to 15 minutes.
- Sear steaks 2 minutes per side.
- Turn heat to medium. Grill with lid closed, 3 to 4 minutes per side, for medium-rare.
- Remove from grill. Let stand 3 minutes before serving.
OVEN:
- Preheat oven broiler element on high.
- Place steaks on broiler pan, in oven, 4 to 6 inches from element.
- Broil, 6 minutes per side, for medium-rare.
- Remove from oven. Let stand 3 minutes before serving.
NOTE: Increase time accordingly for steaks thicker than 1" (2.5 cm). Cook until minimum internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) is reached. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.
