Cooking Instructions

PREPARE FROM FROZEN.

BARBECUE : (for best results)

  1. Preheat barbecue on high. 
  2. Barbecue skewers 4 minutes, shell side down. 
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Grill 6 to 8 minutes, turning frequently until thoroughly cooked.

OVEN:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Place skewers on a baking pan, shell side down, in centre of oven. 
  3. Bake 12 to 14 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked.

NOTE:

Cook until minimum internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.

TIP:

Once the tail is cool enough to handle, grasp the shell at the base and pull the skewer away from the shell sideways to release the meat in one large portion to easy eating.
