    hard and crunchy

    Using the oven method the beef came out crunchy hard, almost inedible. Am trying the other half bag on stovetop to see if I get softer results

Cooking Instructions

PREPARE FROM FROZEN.

STOVE TOP: (for best results)

  1. Preheat wok or large non-stick fry pan over medium heat.
  2. Add beef strips (using no oil) and heat on medium-high 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Meanwhile, thaw and heat sauce by placing pouches in hot water 10 minutes.
  4. Cut open pouches and pour sauce over heated beef strips in fry pan.
  5. Reduce heat. Stir to coat all pieces, about 3 minutes. Serve.

OVEN:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread beef strips in single layer on baking sheet and position in centre of oven.
  3. Cook 12 to 15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, open pouches and place sauce in microwaveable container.
  5. Heat sauce on medium 4 to 5 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
  6. Transfer beef strips from baking sheet to bowl or platter. Pour hot sauce over beef strips and toss to coat all pieces. Serve.

NOTE:

Ensure product is thoroughly heated (165°F/74°C) before serving. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.
