hard and crunchy
Using the oven method the beef came out crunchy hard, almost inedible. Am trying the other half bag on stovetop to see if I get softer results
-
Very enjoyable
I cooked them in oven and was very pleased used only half the sauce and put it on a bed of white rice very nice meal

Favourite!
My very favourite M&M product. Cooks up with a nice bit of crunchiness in the oven. The sauce is yummy and being in separate packs means you can add it to taste. Combined with a bowl of rice it’s a warm, filling, and tasty dinner

Ginger beef
Absolutely horrible.

Great weeknight option
My family really enjoys the Gingered Beef from M&Ms. I don't even want to know how much sodium it contains, but it definitely makes for a great weeknight meal when we don't feel like doing much cooking. We do the stovetop method and eat it with Jasmine rice.

Perfectly balance of sweet & heat
I was impressed with the flavour of this meal. It was perfectly balanced with a bit of sweetness with a mild heat with every bite. Served with rice & broccoli, it was a perfect meal.

Very good!
Had this tonight for supper on a bed of rice. Loved it, not too spicy but next time I would cook some broccoli and carrots to go with it. Going to buy this again, no more take out food for me!

This is so addicting. The ginger beef is one of my favourite items at m&m’s. Serve with rice and it’s the best meal. Pure comfort food.

Awful
I know that everyone has their own taste but this is awful. I don’t normally write reviews but felt I needed to. The sauce is just disgusting - far too strong even when cut with water. I’m questioning whether the chefs at m and m have actually tried this. Ok without sauce but the sauce is awful.

Chewy & Very Sweet
A lot of the items I've purchased from M&M have been great, but for me this beef dish was not. I found the beef to be very, very mushy and chewy due to sinew. Also the meat smelled freezer burned and just stunk like beef does if it has been sitting out for a long period of time. I generally cook with A LOT of spices and TONS of garlic to over shadow the smell of meat....to me, it stunk and the ginger didn't mask the falvour unfortunately. I also found the sauce to be too syrupy sweet.. I wouldn't take this dish even if it was given to me for free. It was a disappointing meal to say the least.

Horrible Aftertaste
I've been buying M&M products for many years. This one was a big disappointment. We purchased two boxes because they were on sale. The aftertaste is so horrible on this that we rinsed off the sauce in order to finish our dinner.
