Cooking Instructions

PREPARE FROM THAWED STATE.

DEFROSTING:

  1. Defrost fillet, in package, in cold water or overnight in refrigerator.
  2. Remove packaging prior to cooking.
  3. Lightly oil and season both sides of fillet (as desired).

OVEN: (for best results)

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Place on non-stick baking sheet and position in centre of oven.
  3. Cook, uncovered, 10 to 12 minutes.
  4. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.

FRY PAN:

  1. Preheat fry pan to medium.
  2. Place in pan and fry, covered, 4 to 5 minutes per side. Turn once.
  3. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.

BARBECUE:

  1. Preheat barbecue on medium-high.
  2. To prevent sticking, thoroughly clean and lightly oil grill prior to cooking.
  3. Grill, with lid closed, 4 to 5 minutes per side, turning carefully until done.

NOTE:

Cook until minimum internal temperature of 158°F (70°C) is reached. Fully cooked salmon is opaque pink and flakes with a fork. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.
