Jam-packed with veggies and proteins, bowls make super satisfying meals. And when you have convenient, ready-to-go ingredients to rely on, throwing one together for dinner is easy. If you’re like us and think everything tastes better in bowl form, then try out some of these creative ideas for your next meal. Each one makes several servings, so you can pack them up for meals on the go or stay-at-home working lunches.
How-to: Prep each of our tasty dishes according to the package directions — you’ll typically need just 10 to 20 minutes to heat them from frozen (though our individually packed Jail Island Salmon takes slightly longer). Choosing family-sized packages will ensure you have enough ingredients for three to five bowls, depending on portion size.
Mediterranean Salmon Pasta Bowl
This fresh-tasting combo is a truly pleasing lunch or dinner. First, add a couple scoops of cooked Penne Pasta Salad to a bowl. This tender pasta — along with bell peppers, red onions and broccoli that have been picked at peak freshness — is tossed in a tangy wine vinaigrette and makes a delicious base. Top with tender-crisp asparagus for your main veg. Add a piece of warm North Atlantic Salmon. It’s flaky, succulent and right at home with the Mediterranean vibe. Finish things off with a handful of arugula, baby kale or microgreens and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Devour the bowl hot, or cover and stash it in the fridge to take along for a delicious lunch on the go.
Shrimp and Bean Taco Bowl
Subtly sweet and perfectly seasoned Herb and Garlic Shrimp Skewers are the product at the centre of this party. These sustainably sourced kabobs are easy to prepare on the barbecue or in the oven, and elegant enough to make your dinner feel just a little fancy. Four Bean Salad, our signature mix of red kidney, red adzuki, black and brown-eyed beans — with a generous addition of corn and red peppers — is tossed with olive oil, garlic and sea salt, so it’s a perfectly seasoned partner to the delicate shrimp. Nestle everything on a bed of comforting Brown Basmati and Wild Rice or another favourite cooked grain, and top with cubed avocado, halved cherry tomatoes, cilantro sprigs and lime wedges for squeezing. Take your bowl over the top with a sour cream or Chipotle Mayo drizzle.

Chicken Niçoise Salad Bowl
Our take on the classic south of France specialty tastes so refreshing and light, but it’s seriously satisfying. Start by prepping our juicy grilled Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast, tender-crisp Bistro-style Green Beans and fluffy Grilled Mini Potatoes according to the package directions, and let them cool to room temperature. Fill a wide-mouthed bowl with lightly dressed greens (we love crunchy romaine) and top with slices of the chicken, the beans and potatoes. Then add some halved grape tomatoes, halved boiled eggs (cooked for 6-1/2 minutes to get that perfect jammy yolk), and niçoise or kalamata olives. Drizzle all over with more of the vinaigrette you used on the greens.
Korean Kalbi Beef and Rice Bowl
Our savoury-sweet, sticky Korean BBQ Beef Short Ribs are glazed in a Korean-style barbecue sauce that’s packed with umami goodness. Grill them from frozen in minutes and enjoy on a bed of tender Long Grain White Rice and top with our vibrant Gourmet Floret Medley, which is always picked at peak ripeness. Matchstick-cut cucumbers and radishes, chunky kimchi, sliced chilies and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds are must-add toppers.
